Just wondering whether you know of any camping supply shops close to the campsite... seeing as we are camping for 2 weeks I don't much fancy sleeping on the ground so will want to buy an airmattress of sorts when I get there. I imagine there will be camping shops in Frankfurt which is where we fly in but would rather buy it closer to campsite so I don't have to cart it all the way there...

Not that i know of, but you can always buy it on ebay or another camping shop in Germany and have it delivered to the site a couple of days before you arrive.

It´s this category on ebay:

Make sure you buy it only a couple of weeks before. because we can´t store it there for 3 months.

Hahaha...well I'm actually taking the barest minimum to WC - but as I am moving to London afterward I will have a load of stuff with me for that...June is apparently the wettest month of the year in Germany - so everyone might want to bring some waterproof bags or something for valuables? Personally I'm shopping for pink wellies at the moment... 8)

Good point about the weather , I found this website recently

http://www.worldweather.org/016/c00057.htm

Looks like rain is more common in Summer than it is in Adelaide , but it will be warm enough to dry out .

Plenty of plastic bags, plus a waterproof tent and spray jacket for the games just in case.

I think you should buy green wellies and I will buy yellow and then we can swap one each ... :D

OH NO! What do you mean "warm" - it says that the daily maximum in June is 22 degrees! I'm from Queensland - if it gets under 25 degrees we're all in jumpers... I just looked up Brisbane on that same site and in June (our winter) we have averages that are only 1 degree below that of Frankfurt in summer... Think I wasted my money on a bikini! I may need to rethink my WC wardrobe...
