Were they checking the passports at the ground as they said?

Don't know about getting tickets over there but hubby said there was only one check he didn't take his passport and once you are inside the perimiter you can wander in and out of the stadium. The beer is served in glasses and there is a 1euro deposit on your glass.

hubby also said there wasd an old german guy going round picking up discarded glasses and he had about 50 not bad 50 euros for picking up glasses

My husband went to the Australia v Japan game yesterday and he said there were heaps of people selling tickets. If you watched the game there appeared to be a lot of empty seats. This would p-- you off if you were waiting for tickets and missed out. My husband didn't get his tickets allocated until the day before the match. Had a devil of a time trying to find him to let him know. Turned out all right in the end.
