Does anyone know if yo need a clean licence to drive in Germany? Or even whether there is a number of points you cannot exceed?

We booked our people carrier ages ago and didn't see anything about it so presumed not but thought I'd best check as 2 of the lads going do have points on there UK licences.

uk rules apply for driving in germany your car will require a GB sticker or the new GB no plate and check your car insurance

We are renting the car in Germany from Europcar so Insurance is all included in the price and we won't need stickers.

I have been informe that we may have to pay a small fee for those who have points on thier licence when we arrive but it is up to the individual rental place!
