 Post subject: Camping store
There will be a small store on site where you can buy cookers, gas, flash lights etc.

Does the gas include butane canisters around 220 gm that are about 15-18 cm hign and 8 cm across (i do not have the exact measurements so sorry if I am rambling), it is for a portable stove and I assume the canisters are common around the world, maybe a bad assumption

I have no clue because it´s the owner organizing this.
I know they will have small gas canisters, though.
Maybe some experienced camper could shed some light on internationalized canisters.

Will it be possible to rent a pillow/sleeping bag and air matress if you bring your own tent?

Unfortunatly not.
The best way is to order something at some store or www.ebay.de and have it delivered to the site.
tent = zelt
airmatress = luftmatratze
sleepingbag = schlafsack
pillow = kissen
extension cord = verlängerungskabel
The address is:
Campingplatz Gross-Eichen
Am Rain 15
35325 Mücke/Gross-Eichen

Hey berni,
Do you know anything more about the gas situation?
Is there a facility on site to buy and fill up larger gas canisters?
If not, where would the nearest place be to do that?
Cheers!

You can buy and rent small canisters.
For the big ones there is large caravanpark 15km away which surely has them
