June 9th - July 9th, 2006.
Germany.
Largest sporting event of all time. I'm sure records will be broken this time, just like every other time.

i agree with you that the fifa commiee absolutly failed this time
but why most of the tickets went to germany is a simple math, because most of the people applying for the tickets were simply from germany
no favoritism there

 Post subject: Venues
Are you planning to host events at all of the venues?
So far, we have tickets for 3 of the 5 matches in Kaiserslauten - should be awesome.
cheers

The camping site is located in central Germny, but we´ll show all the games on the big screen and have coach transfer to all the games.
Congretulations for getting tickets!
Which team will you cheer for?

Thanks for all the info - seems like an ideal set up, and me and my group (8 of us) will definitely be interested.
However, I have'nt read any posts yet that confirm it is going ahead.
How close are you to confirming arrangements, costs etc.
How much interest have you received?
Have you confirmed a site yet?
Have the costs been bottomed out yet?
How gauranteed are they?
i.e. what if we book and then you guys turn around and say, transfers are 50 Euro's each?

as you can see the main site isn´t finished yet, so the members you´ve seen here are all the confirmed interested

we have narrowed down the area to south of the interchange at muecke

the fixed costs have already been calculated, but some are very depending on the amount of campers(e.g. coach transfer)
we are still in the planing phase and should have everything sorted out by the time the qualifing nations are confirmed
i can understand your concernment and we are working on a satisfactionary solution

the majority is between 16 and 40
as you are from england there shouldn´t be a problem to get a flight aboard a budged carrier(easyjet etc.) for around 30 euro one way, if you book well in advance!!!

Frankfurt, Cologne and Dortmund are all about an hour drive away.
For groups pick up can be arranged, otherwise it´s about an hour and a half by train.

 Post subject: HI!
Hi everybody!
I'm from Germany and I wonderd that American are interested in soccer! Wonderful! When you visit Germany next year maybe I can help you to find some interestinf places. In every bigger german city you can watch the soccer matches on a big "Leinwand", sry i don't know the corect word in English maybe it is screen?. All over Germany will be partys with many beer ;-). At the end of the world cup I travel to Berlin. After the final game there will be a party from the Brandenburg Gate to Victory Column and all over the Tiergarten Park!
Enjoy it!
Greetings Jan
