He has come up with a squad built around a five man midfield, he has done this because Owen and Rooney will not play. He has also stocked up on lefties Downing would not make the squad if it was 4,4,2

Walcott is not a gamble he is better than Owen Faster and more gifted.

Hargreaves is their as an extra holding player because of Kings injury hopefully we won't see him, but i understand the selection

How the hell did Hargreaves get in the squad? Ok Walcott is a big gamble but a gamble that could pay off but Hargreaves is not fit to carry the kit into the dressing room never mind wear one. If Rooney and Owen don't make it where is the fire power? Bent or in my opinion Andy Johnson should have been included.

Both of these guy's are second rate, how do we know?
the big teams are not queing for their signatures and i agree we do not need second rate strikers. Just because we lack good replacements does not mean we have to go for what is available.

Sven is looking to Gerrard and Lampard for fire power from a five man midfield i suspect Couch will be a loan striker but if i was Sven and i think he will do it, Walcott will play up front
