now im really confused!!! i ordered conditional tickets last week and every time i check im still in the waiting list, so how come anyone could just log on and buy them today?

could someone please explain to me??!

I hope you all get tickets but if you don't you may consider buying my e book. It's about how i obtained tickets for all the games on my web site. I have had my critics on this forum. One person said the games were shitty. If you think there is no achievement in obtaining tickets for Rel Madrid v Barcelona of England v Portugal then please don't buy it. It is hoped the money will pay for the up keep of my site and it will become a free resource for anybody thinking of going to the Nou Camp/Brenabeu etc

Conditional tickets aren't actually tickets. As I understand it you are actually buying a place on a waiting list. If and when tickets become available as seating plans are finalised, people dont pay up or different countries FAs return them they are allocated to people on the list. They don't let everyone onto the list, just around the number that they expect to be able to give tickets to. You have to pay for the tickets now (top price) by credit card and if you don't get any your money is refunded (or the difference if you get a cheaper seat) after the world cup. Mastercard are major sponsors so they;ll make a packet by holding onto your cash and charging you interest for a month.
Because they might not come available untill the last minute you might not be notified until up to 36hrs before kick off, but you should get a confirmation e-mail straight away to say you have paid and you are on the list.

yeah this is how i understood it too but you confused me saying there were conditional tickets on the site for sale yesterday, did you only just notice you could do this or did they release more yesterday?

I noticed yesterday that a lot of the reds went yellow and the yellows went green.

Did anyone get allocated any yesterday, perhaps this freed up space on the waitlist for others?

They've all been red since the middle of last week then lots of them changed yesterday as if a lot of space has been freed on the list / they think more will be available. The only England game we're over for is the Sweden one which has turned back to red today so there must be some kind of limit on how many can apply for conditionals. They like to make it simple dont they!!

but i didnt manage to get to the login page.

i was in the server, but nothign was happening.

i have a feeling that the fifa site was having problems last nite, cause the same games were still available when i woke up.
nothing had changed.

so in other words

i wasted 7 hrs last nite for nothing

chances are they'll release more again, but honestly...who knows
