 Post subject: How hard is the ground at the campsite ?
This may sound like a dumb question but do you think it will be ok for me to swap my metal pegs to plastic ones, due to weight issues.

Will have to enquire, because i have absolutly no clue.
I know it is normal "earth" with grass on it, no sand.

berni,are the campervan pitches on grass? as i have an awning to put up and it needs pegging down and dont fancy trying to ram them into concrete! cheers

Judging by the length of the grass in the pictures, the ground will be soft enough, for my plastic pegs. Just hope their is a good space left for when I arrive on the 10th ...

When we arrive at the site can we pitch up where we want or do we have set spaces already allocated for us?
