 Post subject: Darts Tournament
Alright lads. A group of 9 of us are coming over from the 7th to the 27th. Just wondering if anyone else is interested in arranging a darts tournament? Maybe have a kitty and cash prize for the winner??
Bernie, is there likely to be anywhere where we arrange this and can play darts on or near the camp site?

There is a darts machine at the camp´s restaurant/pub.
I could set up some prizes if there is enough interest.

It´s one of those popular machines you can play darts on.
It´s not really a national sport over here.

Seems they are not very popular in the home country.
The board is made out of plastic with tiny holes on it and you use darts with a plastic head which fit into the holes.
I guess we can arrange a real board aswell if there is enough interest.

This darts tournament sounds like a great idea! Will be a good excuse for everyone just to get together, have some banter and get bollocksed...whilst throwing a few arrows! Maybe if there is enough interest we can have a small buy-in, winner takes all?
Not liking the sound of this darts 'machine' mind bernie, what did you do, steal it off a little kid?! Sounds like one of those games where you have to fit the right peg through the right shaped hole!

I dont know about Chuck Norris, but the Hoff can get 180 with 1 dart!!! And Mikey you need to get with the times fella, tiddly winks?! Did you not know that darts is the new pogs!!! Its imense, you obviously didnt watch the world championships or the premier league I take it? Watch it once and you'll be hooked!
I wonder if Bernie could arrange to get 'The Power' over for the tournament? Just imagine the Hoff vs The Power?!! It would be like Godzilla vs King Kong part 2!!! Hoff would obviously have to play weak hand, blind folded and 100 yards from the ockey just to make it interesting though!!!

I've played on a Darts Machine in Spain before. There not bad! Its all electronically controlled. You throw your darts, and it adds it up for you (which will be so much easier when everyone is pissed) Theres different programmes you can choose to play, ie- round the clock, etc. Its really easy to do.

Staci you've filled me with a bit of confidence, I was seriously doubting this mystery darts machine of Berni's, but it doesn't sound too bad. The electronic score board will definately come in handy!!
