Post Post subject: infos about tickets
Hi all,
I need some infos about the "buy&sell euro 2008 tickets" argument.. I hope u can help me.

I want to buy tickets on ebay.de (I know that ebay.de has the approval of UEFA SA for selling tickets)... my question is .. if the tickets are nominative (they have names on ticket) .. u need any special documentation for getting into the stadium? I dont want to get denied to enter in the stadium after I spent 600€, hehe ^^

for special documentation I mean a delcaration that certifying u transfer the tickets to another person or something like that.

I tried to translate this page http://pages.ebay.de/em2008/ , but in some points it's a bit unclear..

Thanks in advance, I hope u can provide me some useful infos.

Bye

Andreas

if you buy 4 tickets from eufa all the tickets have the same name.
3 of 4 visitors entring the game with tickets that do not have their name on it .

Hi

I just got mine and David is correct, there is only the main applicants name on the tickets. I doubt they will even check this.

Cheers

many thanks for the quick replys.

yes the 2 tickets that I bought from ebay have the name of the main applicant.. the vendor bought the tickets in 2007 when UEFA started to sell.

I hope the stewards will not check the names on the tickets.. I dont want to get denied to enter the stadium xD

Anyway, I'll ask to the main applicant to send me his copy of identity document. Let me know if u know something else ;)

I really doubt they will ask for documents and if they do, just say that you are not the main applicant.

Don't worry Dibex. I've been to numerous tourniments throughout Europe and they always say the same thing. The reality is that no one ever checks names on tickets. They say this to try and stop tickets being sold on the black market, but it never has nor never will work.

Allways you have the option to say that you are not the main applicant

If you bought the tickets from somebody from Romania you will most probably be seated in the Romanian block.
If you bought it from somebody who had Romania FYT you will certainly be sitting with the Romanian fans.

At least that's my experience from World Cup 2006 and the little info i could gather for the Euro 2008.

P.S.: If you bought them from somebody who got them through their association you will definitely be sitting among Romanian supporters.

The vendor that sold me the the tickets bought it in the UEFA first sell stage .. early in 2007 .. I really doubt that he chose FYT Romania option.

berni u bought your tickets from UEFA SA right? U "told" them wich team do u support or where u want to seat?

U think is it possible that I will be in a mix fans block? I hope so. (I know for sure, Italian Fans are in the BLUE sector).

anyway I will ask to the vendor.. I'll let you know.

thx again ;)

I bought mine in the first and ONLY(?!?!?!?!) stage.

Mines are FYT Poland and those are seats in the Polish block for each game.

I can't remember an option too choose your supported country, but i might be wrong.

If he hasn't bought FYT there is a big chance you will be sitting in the mixed-zone, as they are much bigger than the national zones.

I know for sure italian fansector is from B13 to B16.. so I suppose Romanian fansector is from D24 to D27, probabibly I will be in a mix zone!! good ;)

if you have bought a ticket via e-bay and want to go inside the stadion, you must be able to say:
- who gave you the ticket
- how did you get it (better you do not say via e-bay 41616-4 )
- where you got it (the place);

it think it would be the best that the one who sold you the tickets writes a letter that he sold you the ticket for the price that is written on the ticket. then it should not be a problem.
